Flowers are the medium, not the message.
I'm a flower farmer, educator, and organizer building equity in American floriculture. I founded Black Flower Farmers, a global network of growers of color. I speak, teach, and grow flowers in Norfolk, Virginia, always with dirt under my nails.
I speak nationally on native plants, sustainable floriculture, and creating equitable pathways in the floral industry. My work has been featured in Garden & Gun, National Wildlife Federation Magazine, and En Forme. I serve on the Board of Directors at Norfolk Botanical Garden and founded the Tidewater Flower Collective. Through keynote presentations, workshops, and community organizing, my work bridges floriculture, equity, and ecological restoration.
